Sooo as a last minute decision we slapped the car together and headed east to Vegas. It had its highs and lows. Here is how it went. Friday the car shut off just after I crossed the starting line in the burnout. Worked on the wiring issue till Saturday afternoon. Then the promoter worked to get me some runs in the afternoon. I made 3 runs. It ran 8.40’s at 162 which is really slow for the boost I was running. Still not sure why. Sunday I snuck in one pass before it rained. 8.30/162 letting off at 1,000 foot. Turns out my fuel map was a mess and the car was super rich. My buddies said it looked like a diesel going down track. Then came Monday. Still working on the fuel map it went 5.30/136 in qualifying. I was worried I wouldn’t qualify for the four car shootout. Turns out I came out number one until the last session when a hellcat race car went 5.27. Round one went well raced a hellcat magnum and he messed up on staging giving me the instant win. Final round put me against number 1 qualifier. I intended to serve her a 4.90 but the track wouldn’t hold it. I went 5.30 to take the win against her 5.43. I won 3k and bragging rights. What a weekend!

After a win like that sometimes your feet don't touch the ground or other times you are so overwhelmed that your head swells up a little and hence hat no longer fits. Still I give you a lot of credit for the win. As began reading your post I never noticed your handle and was expecting to see a new Challenger with those times. Again great job with the true old Mopar power.

Oh thank you. I was floating on a cloud for sure. I never expected to win. I just was hoping to make the top 4 and even at that was a dream.
