I'd like to run a really large tire combo for my Demon would 275/60/15 tires fit front and rear on 15 x 7 rims ? Thanks

Im not sure what the largest in the front would be. Im usually a big tire out back little tire up front guy.

I'm running 225x70-14 on the front and tire is very close to fender corner on turns. Wouldn't go any bigger on Diameter. (26.5)

I dont think a 275mm tires is recommended by any tire manufacturer on a 7" wide rim. Height wise a 26" tall in front is about right.

On the front of my Dart Sport I have 205/65R15 on 7" rims with 4.5" backspacing, they do not rub and look right. The rear has 255/60R15 on the same rims, which is also the biggest recomended size for that rim width. You could go a little bigger on a wider rim though and it would also look meaner ( 10" rim with a 275 tire would just fit)(future plans).

I had smaller tires in the rear when the pic was taken but the front are the same

275 60 15 on 15X8 4 inch BS.top pic biggest in stock wells.

29 14.5 15 on 15x12 7 inch BS. bottom pic biggest mini tubbed

215/65R15 with 6" rallyes in the front

275/60R15 with 8" rallyes in the rear

Perfect, They fit great back there, I thought the 255-60 may be better but that wheel well was made for 275s

I am running 275 60r15, and have ordered new rims. Debated whether to go with 3-5/16 backspace or 4-7/8 and I came up with using 4-7/8. Hope I'm right.

Any input guys ?

you will need to offset the springs. Its a bit to much, Ran that size on my 69 cuda. The 33-5/16s insnt enough. 4.25-4.5 works well

275/60/15's rear with offset shackles, 205/75/14s front

The 275 60R15's fit now, with I believe 4.5" or 4.25" backspace on 8" rims, and have roughly one inch of clearance between tire and SS springs. New rims are 8.5" wide 4-7/8" backspacing, hoping they will fit and still leave 3/8" plus clearance but time will tell...
I do love that look , which is how mine is setup now, 205 75R14 front and 275 60R15 on back.

Hopefully they fit, if not I'll have to mod accordingly. One of winter 2011/2012 projects was likely going to Caltrac's, and I don't have a clear picture of how the clearance will be with that setup. All in due time..

I can tell you what does not work up front...225-70-15's

I loved the look but loved my paint more LOL! you can just see where it has been removed on my front wing. I got it from the tire shop to my drive way and the wheels came back off. I ended up with 205-65-15 and they fit sweet although I do wish I could have tried 235 -60-15's...anyway.

I had the same rims with 255-60-15s on my Barracuda which would rub the white letters on the springs. after I moved the springs it was a great fit.

Is that a door over the gas fill ? That is definately cool . thats a first one I saw done on an a-body. Nice. I like it a lot

Is that you driving that sprint?...you must be nucking futs brother LOL!!!

I have often wondered about the gas cap cover but never looked into it, I hope someone else chimes in and lets us all know what year or model this option was on.
