Maxed out?

anybody know what the maximum overbore on a '69 318 is?
I'm not planning on going to the extreme I just want to know where the safe zone is and where the point of hitting a water jacket is haha

You should only bore it out to the next pistion size.* But most engines can be overbored .060. safly.

sonic testing will tell how far it can be bored

Get a 360, cheap and will be more to start with than a 318, cost the same to build

depending on what you think you will spend, buy a Blueprint Engines 408 stroker complete oil pan to intake $3,600 + shipping, drop it in and you will have 375HP, 30 month or 50,000 mile warranty
