Aaron and I are just about finished getting his new 360 put back together - coming along nicely. Remember, this engine came out of his grandparents' Dodge Maxivan, so some of the brackets are not suitable for use in his Duster.

The alternator was mounted with some sort of homemade bracket (visible weld seam) that served dual duty holding the A/C compressor. For now, the A/C isn't going back in until more funds are available. So, can some of you who don't have A/C please post pics of your setup. We need to see what brackets are necessary for mounting only the alternator by itself.

Finally, what cars would have come with 360s and are likely sources for this necessary bracket?

Thanks, as always,
Jerry

I found brackets I needed from Bouchillion (sp.),and correct pulleys from Mancini R.,on a 340 no p. steering or a.c. All were very reasonable.

Are you planning on having a/c later? If so I have the brackets that will mount the alt and later put the a/c compressor on. PM me if interested.
