Any idea the story on the odd ball exhaust manifolds on the six pack in your photos?

Those are the stock c body 440 HP exhaust manifolds.

They have a FAST exhibit every year and did this year.

You never see those fins on the manifold because it is covered by a shield that the preheat hose connects to the air cleaner.

Good show. It was my first time there. I battled the crowd at 9am for a few hours and went back around 5pm for the live music and depleted crowd. Much more enjoyable at that time of the day. The floor art was awesome!!

I think you're referring to the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race Series display. It's similar but it's not the same as the Factory Appearing Stock Tire Series. There are no 9 second cars in PSMCDR.

Speaking of PSMCDR, Bob K. "Mr. Six Pack" came by and hung out with us for a little bit. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

It was definitely packed but that's a good thing.

In regards to the music - I love AC/DC and the band was actually OK as far as cover bands go but I could have done without it. Probably because they were right on top of us and we were wiped out.

The floor art was awesome!!

Thank you! It took us several hours to put it down and about 10 minutes to remove it. People seemed to really like it once they figured out what it was. We had several inquiries about buying it.
