Measuring for pushrods w/hydraulic cam?

Using an adjustable pushrod, does one measure with the plunger depressed or not? I'm measuring .025" of plunger travel, but I'm thinking once they're pumped they will stay up, right? Help my tired brain please...

Rockers are Comp stainless adjustables, not the OE stamper rocker if that matters...

Figure out roughly ,the push rod length. Order the correct push rod... Comp Cam's ,seems to have a damn nice one(personal experience..).
