It is now 2 years 10 months later. Boy was I wrong about no rust. They covered it all up with bondo so it could not be seen. I stripped it down to bare metal and repair all the rust, replacing it with metal sheets.

Including the car, I think I have $25,000 invested in this. For all intents and purposes, the restoration is now complete

Sure adds up fast doesn't it? Kind of like a guy you would see in old movies, the banker with the little viser cap banging away at the adding machine.
