anyone know the answer to this question? i need to know the minimum amount of engine vacuum need to run the booster correctly and safely. thanks guys!!

I like to have 14 InHG vacuum at idle. If the car has a manual transmission you can get away with a little lower.

My customers report to me that 9" is bare minimum, and 12" works great without issues.

I have a manual, so that is in neutral. When I lift and brake at speed, I see up to 24 InHG. I use to get that with the smaller cam, even though it idled at 19 InHG, so braking is the same at speed.

thanks guys! looks like i have about 12inHG in drive. seems to work great!
