What does the coolant inlet look like when the gasket is scrapped off? They’re notorious for corrosion. Thanks

They all had that “notch” like that, it was for a Holley 3bbl carb

They all started with the notch....but when I searched this one out...most had that piece machined down

Just out of curiosity why would you put a plug in the bypass fitting (seen post #4). Not that it makes any difference in this sale?
