Missing Rear brake Drums

Looking through the Classic Industries catalog it does not list the 10" inch rear drums for the 71 340 Dusters. One would think that the 340 Dusters with the 8 3/4 rear end would come with the larger drums then the 9 "inch drums... Which drums should this have and how to tell since the drums were missing when we got the car.

My assumption... You have the backing plates just missing drums.

That being said...

Measure your brake shoes installed, (measure from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock) should be about 10" or slightly lass but significantly larger than 9".

As for width measure the width of the shoe. 1 3/4, 2, 2.5 are standard sizes (IRC)

Ultimately you can go to mymopar.com and download the parts catalog for your year or the closest year and look up the options.

1971 Duster 340s did come with HD 10" drum brakes standard.

Thanks for the help;. Got home measured things out and its a 10 in on the drums ..
