A little history lesson, in 1966 AMT made the Barracuda Annual kit.
This was a stock 66 with some customizing parts.
Then the mold was modified to make the funny car kits.
After molds are modified, they almost never go back to stock.
They then created the 66 Barracuda Hemi Under Glass kit from the 66 body mold.
Whether it was copyright or Hurst issues, I don't know but, that kit did not last long.
They then made the Super Boss Funny Car kit, same kit, different box and decals.
Then the Mad Mackerel, same kit, different decals and box art.
So before Ertl recast the 66 Hurst Hemi Under Glass kit, Model King did this limited release.
These were a welcome release for the unobtainable original 66 Hug.
This kit is still sealed, never opened.
