Anyone do any modification to a Victor 440 intake. I know I need to match it to the head intake size, but what about up by carb base?

You can blend that opening as well and knife edge the divider on the runners up top. I did this to my M1 on my 440 in my b body along with smoothing out any rough parts on the runners, did that part by hand with sand paper

I matched mine to my heads but haven't finished it up yet and don't have any pics, no help to you but i did do what your asking lol.

all the real head-intake porters I`ve talked to, (as well as an 18 time national record holder), told me that the runner entry blades should be smooth-but bull nosed, not sharpened .
