[FOR SALE] mopar 340 valve covers

Mopar 340 valve covers. I was told that these were 340s but hopefully someone can confirm that- they will fit on 318-340-360

I do not know what year they are. thanks

Hate to burst your bubble but no 340 cover ever had that many wire loom mounts on them not even 73s did

no problem, I have had them for a while and have never really got how to tell the 340 valve covers from 318s and such

On the pax side cover there is a heat shield. Sorry don't have a pic. It is on the carb side if I remember correctly. My wires to the alternator pass behind it. It's obvious if the cover has it and I've been told they were on all 340 covers. GLWS! Mark

273 commandos also had a heat shield
Could be a 4 barrel thing

Yes on 4bbl engines, the choke well on 4bbl's is much closer to the valve cover on the pass side than the 2bbl intake, thus the need to shield those wires.
