What kind of balancer will be good for a 400hp setup?
stocker or a aftermarket?

If your stock unit is in good shape go ahead and use it. If not then get a nicer aftermarket piece, keep in mind that many aftermarket dampers wont allow the stock pulleys to work. Check carefully before buying. My bet would be to get a stock replacement if yours is shot. You dont need a high dollar damper in my opinion for a 400 hp motor, my 360 is living just fine with the stocker and its a 400hp motor.

Also remember when your looking at them, the 360 is an external balance engine unless you built it differently.

This is a bridge I havn't crossed yet. My OE balancers have allways been in good shape. MoPar sells them new *I think*.

Mopar performance sells a 360 ex. balancer runs about $95 at summit and comes with a new bolt and washer and has degree marks up to about 32 BTDC. Nice unit my son just got one for this 360.
