I'm down to meet up at ~830. My car isn't registered for the show, but i'll be driving it anyway.
Cool - see everyone at the Starbucks 1815 Hillsdale Ave, San Jose, CA 95124
Good I'm almost to the shop. Running late.. I'm on my way tho
Can somebody post a few pics ... I've got a big yard project with a deadline in front of me.
Great show - seemed like a larger turn out than last year On with some A Bodies
B Bodies - 1971 Super Bee was amazing - original owner 440-6 pack
Pre- 1962 the Coronet was my favorite car
Even a big AMC turn out
Lastly the drive over
Did anybody still until the end?
Nope. I left shortly after you. Thanks for sharing the photos! I love that light Blue Sport Fury!
Thanks for the awesome photos James. Side note: I grew up on Meridian Ave between Hillsdale and Branham Ln. My mom still lives in that house! I remember back in the day Meridian ended at Jacob Ave. We used to play whiffle ball in the street. Try that now and you'd be killed!
Thanks for the awesome photos CudaJames.... I was pleased to see Dan's 66 Barracuda in the mix... ⚓
He also brought out his mom, it was awesome to meet her and hear the stories - that was one of my highlights of the day. Sadly I wasn't able to get a picture of her with the car
Hey cudajames, Dan sent me a picture of his mom with the Barracuda... Maybe he will send you one? ⚓
Looks like a great show to me! Thanks for sharing!
Dan and his mom with her original 1966 Barracuda. And yes, she went V8
I'm getting ready to sign up for this year's show! Who's going and is the caravan gonna happen again? Looking forward to seeing everyone and a great show!! PS I think it's the 11th this year.
Cruising as a caravan was fun. I am up for doing that
Hell yes we should caravan! I can't wait for the show, best car show of the year in my opinion! I'm torn on what class to enter, driver, race car or project?? I wish they had a rust bucket class... Last year folks were afraid to park next to me, I think, they think rust is contagious... I hope you (James) don't mind me bumping your old thread. I figured may as well keep it going? It was great meeting some FABO folks and I look forward to meeting even more this year!
no worries, the more people that know about the show the better. It is always great to meet other FABO members You can say you are a member of a BAMM or Southbay mopar and all the member would vote for you. . .
