Ok, so WHY THE HECK is the current Mopar Muscle mag dated DECEMBER??? I find it stupidly ridiculous!! If anything it should be the October mag!! No reason to have it 3 months ahead IMO!

Ok. I'm done.

the faster they burn through the months the faster you have to renew and send them more $$$$$

I really enjoy mopar muscle regardless of the month and year .....I just wish they would do more original cars and less modified cars and new stuff.

The best mopar muscle issues were 90s and early 2000s ....I bought a ton of older issues on ebay and they are great ....I mean really great.

The tech articles used to be better in the 90s and early 2000s too ....there is an article on electronic ignition from 2001 that use regularly on all my cars .....I made a copy of the article and its now the standard around here.

I wish they would get back to the "good old days" not everyone likes the new chargers and challengers.

I just bought the new one tonight for the "metal mending" article. Now I wish I had November to see what they suggest for surface rust! Gonna have to subscribe sometime...

For a couple of reasons. The date on the cover is actually the pull date for retailers to pull the mags off the shelf. Dated "December" means that's how long the retailer can leave the mag on the shelf as a "new" mag. Once December hits, the retailer pulls it and sends it back to the distributor for credits on the next batch to come in.

For anyone looking at the mag rack, the months ahead of timing dating let's the customer think it's a "new" magazine.

Take a look at most of the mags on the shelf and you'll see the same dating system.

Weeklies are usually a week ahead.

Huh. Only mags I ever got were field & stream and outdoor life and those only came about 2-3 weeks early, iirc, so I didn't realize they did this..
