Is there a way to connect a laptop computer to mopars pcm, or wiring harness? Using a Mopar Performance wiring harness for a 6.4 crate engine. Would be nice to monitor the engine durning break-in.

That harness should have the o.b.d. 2 connector (on board diagnostics) plug a scanner in there and Bob’s your uncle !

Dose the scanner, just give you engine codes, or can you read data like oil pressure?

Yes 65wgn440 is right any pro scanner will read out sensors , Napa sell’s a launch brand reasonable price and varying price points .

You can but a cheap obd2 scanner... they come in bluetooth or wifi.... then get the app and you can monitor everything from your phone or tablet.... if you got an iphone, then obd fusion works great.... if you got an android, look for torque pro.... i think either app may cost 5$ or something
