Does anyone know who and where they are built. Love this motor just curious. I hope this does not start one of those "I hate crate" deals.

They are no longer available unless you can find one that somebody has sitting around.
The camshaft and intake manifold are no longer offered either, so you are better off just getting a currently available crate engine with similar ratings or building one.
If you are just wondering where they were made, it was supposedly a shop in Michigan that did most of the crate engines during that timeframe.
