Moparfest anyone?

Hey all!

It's that time of year where you can really take your Mopars out for a nice drive, not just a cruise night or a few blocks. Take them out for a real drive!
Take them somewhere were other fanatics can enjoy them.
Wondering how many of you out there have heard or have been or plan on attending "Moparfest" this year?
Check it out http://www.moparfest.com/, I've personally been attending religiously and it's always been great. Canada's largest Mopar show.
There is simply never enough Mopars for me.

Wow, would love to go! Looks like a swap meet that you could find anything you need.

When you go, keep a look out for a air cleaner assy for me. If it's decent priced, about $150 or less, please get the contact info and pass along to me. Been watching on E-bay for about 4 months for one, and they're just too ridiculously priced to touch. There's one on E-bay now item # 230146882023 just too rich $$$ for me. It's a oval one like what came on the Mr. Norms 340 6-pack setup. Has some raised stripes in the center, and possibly Tri-Power at the top (Chevy-Uhga!) Would consider a Chevy one, but like the idea of a smaller air cleaner to be able to see more of the intake and carbs then the "factory" assembly. I think the factory is okay, just hides too much!

Will do, the swap meet is where I spend most of my time, buying things I just gotta have but don't really need.
Keep in mind that this is a two day event, so if I do come across one I will try to put a deposit on it ( vendor willing ) and take some pics then email you or post them, so be sure to check your mail or the forums on Sat. evening.
If the $$ is right and in good condition I'll take it home.

Looks like it's a go for me! I've got the Barracuda back up and running I think.

I called the Comfort Inn for a room and they were booked solid, she wouldn't even take me on a waiting list (other Ottawa buddies are already booked there). So then I get on the internet and I manage to book a room there via the internet! So I call the next day to confirm and yup, my room is confirmed. I guess the phone girl just didn't have a clue.

I've never been to Moparfest (even though it's so close), I hope it's worth the trip! See you there! I'll have my black '65 Barracuda (assuming it doesn't blow up before then)

I'll be looking for you, a little more notice and I probably could've talk the old lady into letting a few people pitch a tent in the yard, I live 5 mins. away.
I wont be driving mine still, due to my broken heel, still can't drive stick.
Making my way around good with a cane now though. I will be taking tons of pics, and checking out the vendors, as I will have some parts for sale with a friend of mine.
