I stumbled upon a MoparPlus on line catalog today and found a listing for 1970-1 Dart and Demon front fender extension trim that said they are considering reproducing them. I contacted them by phone and yes they are considering this. Got a second call saying they are considering this but have so far not seen enough interest.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE send an e-mail to Mopar Plus at moparplus@gmail.com expressing interest in this product. Mention that you heard about it on FABO. These parts have never been repopped and the supply of decent old ones is almost non-existent. 3 years ago I needed a pair for my 70 Dart GT and ended up getting a chrome shop to replate a set with no pits and had to pay $385 plus shipping. Mopar Plus estimates that they would offer them for $150-200 a pair, if they see sufficient interest.

THIS PRODUCT IS CURRENTLY BEING CONSIDERED FOR REPRODUCTION.

IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN A SET PLEASE SEND US A CONTACT MESSAGE AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

YOUR NAME, PHONE AND BILLING ADDRESS

THE INFORMATION PROVIDED WILL ALLOW YOU TO BE PUT INTO A PRE-ORDER QUEUE AND RESERVE YOU A SET FROM THE FIRST BATCH.

The product will only be reproduced upon reaching a certain number of interested parties.

Interesting, I wonder what company is actually producing these , I can't believe both... does PG Classic actually produce parts or are they simply a distributor?

These are for 72 Darts and Demons and are more shallow than the one for 1970-1 which share grille shape. I think you can use 1970-1 extensions and trim with a 72 grille, but the opposite is not true. The 72 versions have been available for a while.

i didn't even look at the year i just saw the "70" in the part number and ***-umed. lol yes they are different, i have one NOS 70-1 and just need to find a second one. i have lots of pitted originals too so i wonder what rechroming would turn out like vs a repop.
