Found a 833 non OD out of a 67 A body with 23 spline output shaft, my car currently has a 3speed manual in it. Im trying to figure out if the overall dimensions on the trans are the same out output splines. See if my current driveshaft will work on it.

I did this swap as well as going from a \6 to a V8 and swapping the 7 1/4 out for an 8 3/4. Its been a while since i did this swap, I'm sure I'm forgetting allot of the details. If i remember right the output shaft between the 3 speed and 4 speed are different.
As far as getting it in the car:
I had to add the 4 speed hump and also had to get the drive shaft shortened.(not sure how much of that was caused buy the new rear end).
I'm sure there will be other members with way more detail than I have.

I believe the splines may be different so you may need to change the driveshaft yoke.The driveshaft should be the same length

I went back and looked at my receipts. Looks like I ordered a new slip yoke from brewers performance.
