been reading w/ interest about tire sizes on the few 68 barracuda questions posted.
anyone got a 68 w/ 3/4" offset spring hangars, and rolled inner fender lips? what biggest tire a guy can run? don`t mind massaging the inner wheel wells, and will probably stretch the outer front edge a little.
thanks, bob

I don't have offset spring hangers, but I do have SS springs. 15" x 7" w/4.25" BS. Had to use a 1/2" spacer to get them away from the springs. I run 275/60/15 in the rear. I believe with the proper BS, that you could most likely go bigger.

offset hanger will move the springs enough to use the entire stock wheel well. I had moved the springs in 3" on my 69 Barracuda but never got around to mini tubbing it.

I had 275-60-15s on a 15X8.5 with 4-7/8" back spacing. I also ran 325-50-15s on the same rim but the rim was too narrow for the tires.

3rd pic is a 295-65-15 on a 15X10. Not sure what the back spacing is.

thanks guys! will probably go for the biggest I can massge in there, think I`m going to need all I can get!
anyone ever run caltracs w/ 3/4 ofset spring hangers? looks like a guy could trim the poly bushings and set them up on the inside of the front spring hangers w/ a little mod., heck they might even make them that way, guess I will give them a call when the time comes.
