Does anyone happen to have a picture of how their spool mounts fit the ears on the block? I switched from a 68 to a 74 K frame, bought Anchor 2325 and 2326 mounts with brackets, but they don't seem to want to fit my 73 340 block, not without bending them anyway. I appreciate any help guys.

How about some photos

Questions...

Is the 340 block mount points the same as 318 / 360?

Are you putting them on the correct side of the block mount points?

On the correct side of the engine?

I believe those mounts require a spacer on the driver's side to bolt up correctly. I used them on my 70 340 and that's what I had to do. 65'

340 and 360 take a different mount then a 318. You may have 318 mounts. If needed I can bolt a set of 340 spool mounts on a block and post pictures. I have 340 spool mounts here for use with a 73 and newer K-member. The left side 340 -360 is narrower then a 318. Remember A-B-E-body mounts are all the same from 73-74 the engine block is the variant.

340 motor mount 3642813 L/H 340 motor mount 3642810 3642818 R/H my 73 Mounts 340 have these numbers stamped on the sides , the R/H has 2 sets of numbers one on each side

Plymouth 65 hit it on the head. The right side mount needs a spacer on the rearward ear to fit correctly. A few washers and I'm good to go. As a sidebar Rockauto shows the same mount for the 318. 340, and 360 for a 73 up Dart. The narrower drivers side ear on the 318 is widely documented on our site, so it makes sense that I needed a spacer for my 340. For anyone reading this in the future, both brackets sit against the rearward side of the front ears. You'll see the space you need to fill on the driver's side. Nothing fancy, thick flat washers will do the trick.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback.
