i have a 73 duster with 360, i am getting alot of engine vibration, the builder told me that i should change my motor mounts, the ones i have are steel with no rubber in them, he said if i change to rubber motor mounts it will help alot, any thoughts on this? everything else is fine so i know hes not trying to con me. thanks

Rubber mounts will definitely take out some of the vibration.

I'll second that !

Unless it's strictly a "drag" car I'd stay with rubber mounts and add a torque strap on left side of engine.

Go to rubber, unless it rocks the body like my Challenger did. Then its worth the vibrations!!

One other thought is...you did use the correct torque converter, didn't you?
