So I was trying to reuse my mounts off of my 318 on my 360. However the driver side mount hole that would need the spacer is lower than I’ve seen in pictures on here. Also my 318 had four holes for the mounts on both sides of the block and my 360 only had 3, 2 in the front 1 high hole in the back. So I’m trying to find any 318 mounts that will work. That being said Is any car mount work or will only an a body mount work?

Add a longer bolt and a spacer or stack of washers between the AFT block ear and the mount.

Only 2 other solutions. Mod the mount itself, and weld it up to close the gap. Or buy a 68-72 340 LH mount.

340 and 360 have the same LH block ear config.

Ok. Yeah I see what your talking about now. Early 318 mount. Can you fab and weld? Do this then weld it up. Use pass side mount as a template to make the piece your missing. I copied these pix off another fabo member years ago. Figured somebody would need em. Helped another guy doing a 340 swap last week with these same pix. Other option is a 68-72 340 LH mount. Those are hard to find and expensive.

Can’t weld but do have the old rv mounts that cam with the engine that I could try and cut up for this if they line up right.
