im getting closer to putting my 360 in my cuda...now what do i do as far a motor mounts i dont think i wanna do solid i dont feel as that has enough give and the stock rubbers i dont know if they have enough durabillity. if you do mounts either solid or rubber they have to match what you have on your tranny mount as far as i know i think schumacher make some pretty spendy mounts and also i found one here

http://www.polybushings.com/pages/2469.html

so whacha got?

I have solid motor mounts (Moroso I believe) and a poly bushed trans mount, works great on my street/strip car (80% race, 20% street). I have heard bad things about using solid trans mounts, unless you are using a mid plate.

My plan is to use stock rubber mounts but buy a torque strap for the DS. The polylock mounts are cool but they are very pricey.

ya the poly mounts are pretty expensive...i have stock mounts in my 440 dart and a small chain on the drivers side bolted to the head to the frame

thanks for the help guys ill proly stick with the stock rubber mounts and go to that strap or machine one

I have energy suspension poly engine mounts ready to go in they wernt that much an they'll last longer then stock rubber.i used stock rubber tranny mounts my originals wernt bad so rubber is cool with me.

I use stock replacement rubber engine/trans mounts with a torque strap. The drivers side is locked down but the other mounts still absorb enough vibration to make it only slightly more noticeable. Different car but I do use abody style mounts.

This is where I got my mounts for my 360 in my 65 Cuda, and 340 demon.
http://www.engine-swaps.com, you can pick from stock type mount or poly lock.
Yeah I put on these poly locks , tired of the rubber mounts that had to be changed every 3 months . Worth the price
