Hey guys I recently just got my 318 all finished up and ready to drop in with the new tranny... and I have the engine on the stand and was looking at the old motor mounts off of my 360 and..............they wont work. The 318 is a 12-26-68 cast and the k-frame is out of a 72 Dart in my 74 Dart. So does anyone have any idea of what to do?

Heres some specs on the engine... .030 over flat top pistons, Mopar Performance Purple 284/284, Lift .484/.484 cam, new crank, stock rods, stock heads, edelbrock preformer, holley 600 vacuum secondary spreadbore. I have an edelbrock LD4B intake and a 650 holley double pumper...whats the stats on that LD4B? Id like to throw that on alittle ways down the road with that double pumper.

What year are your 360 mounts? If they are '71-'72 or '71-'74 E body you should be able to use the passenger side mount on your 318. You will need a '67-'72 318 mount for the driver's side. I'm sure someone here will be more than willing to trade 318 mounts for your 360 ones. If not, they are available new from Schumacher. Hope this helps.
 
Im not entirely sure the year of the motor mounts off the 360...if some pics would help Ill take some and post them for you guys. lol I was all excited ready to drop it in and its like...ooo wait a minute this aint right

**edit** maybe the K-Frame is out of a 73 cause there spool mounts. 68 block in a 73 K-frame? possible?
 
74 is a spool mount and you installed a biscuit K frame.

The mounts you need look like this:

Do the mounts you currently have look like these:

Go to parts america/Kragen, they sell the mounts for about $20 a side for a spool mount IIRC.

Bring up a 73+ 318 duster/Dart sport
 
The passenger side will work.

The drivers side mount ears on a 318 are spaced further apart than a 340-360 block. The mount you have isn't wide enough to go over the mounting lugs.
