Will the new style spool mounts/K member work on an older style (68 273, 318, 340) small block?

Why wouldn't they? The '73+ cars came with 318's, 340's, and 360's. With the exception of the slightly wider mount on the driver's side all the blocks are the same externally. The 318 mounts are reproduced, and you can use a small spacer (or washers) for the 340/360 blocks if you can't find a 340/360 mount for the drivers side.

Yes, with one caveat: the 340/360 mount (driver's side) will not fit a 318/273 unless you physically cut and widen it. Just the opposite of putting 273/318 mounts on a 340/360 with a spacer.
