Today is the first day in two weeks I have been home before 8pm...
Been moving everything that IS NOT shop related to my home. And finally will have my press and shop benches at my shop out of my shed behind my house...
Whooo Hooo,My 10 x 20 shed will now house my mopar parts.
Here are some more picture of the new location...
Rented an airless paint rig and scaffolds and my good friend "Jake" painted most of the shop yesterday only took 20 gallons of paint.
Hired a new guy ,Charlie and he helped, while me and Tim,my best friend and mechanic ran the old shop.

Sanded floors with a floor polisher and I will be ordering DuraSeal 400 epoxy paint and will not see it for a week.Decided against the DIY epoxy paint from Home Depot.
Here is the floor we have sanded so far.
Any advice on what epoxy paint you have used ?

as to your floor finish-- have you ever heard of concrete polishing? local company has some samples in their shop-- looks amazing--- do not know what maintenance would need.
by the way congrats on the bigger shop!!

Thanks, VDART
I am working a deal with local Sherwin-Williams store on Tile-Clad Epoxy paint.
Got to get it done this weekend.
TXDart

Got the Tile-Clad High Solid Epoxy Paint today.
It is a two part system, can not wait to try it out.
You can get in any color and I just went for slate-gray.
Got a pressure washer to use from a good friend of mine.
Tom is a cool hot rodder,ex Nascar driver and has owned more mopars than anyone I know. Will show and tell later.
Well ,the floor needs some more sanding and will be doing the sanding tomorrow.I am not satisfied with it and just do not want to paint again...ever..Besides if I mess it up it has to all come back off.So prepare the surface, rinse, sand some more and rinse,rinse,rinse....
The paint will have to wait till after work during the work week.
Here are some picture of the floor and paint I am going to use.

Here is the new Lift, just need to wire her in.Should not be to hard the breaker box is right behind her.
I tried to swing a deal on having my other lift moved to my new location with the company I purchased this one from ,and they went from $575 to $450.Too much for me at this time.
I will be moving it myself with help of course,
after we move everything else in.

Things are looking good but I know it's lots of work I moved my motorcycle dealership last year 20 thousand sq ft, what a job 18 guys 4 months to get done right and still try staying open for our customers. Don't envy you. But good luck and congaulations on the move up the food chain.

Thanks,
Two man show and just hired one more.Seems like I am the only one realizing that we re-open May 2nd at the new place.
Right hand man took a 4 day weekend and can not blame him, been with me two years with no time off but weekends.I run the show for almost 5 years Mon-Saturday.
No more Saturday from now on.My first four day weekend will be in the middle of may for Mopars at the Motorplex, even though my car will not be ready.

Did not get much done this week.Too busy at old location.
Could not be any happier, this move has cleaned out my bank account.
Stay up till midnight last night and got my sale tax quarterly payment in.
Made enough money too pay the guys and my taxes, nothing left for me.
I could not be any happier, broke but the cash flow continues...
Tim and Charlie went to new location and started to put on the epoxy paint this afternoon, while I ran the old location...
Got the ranger frame to my house and I sure my neighbors will start freaking out because I am bring all my vehicle home...
The ranger frame will be cut up later and scrapped but do not tell my neighbors.
I will be telling them that I am doing complete restoration,a frame off restoration..HA Ha
Got these home tonight:
1999 Honda Odyssey
1972 Dodge Dart
Just need to trailer the 1974 Dart and my 1965 Chevy Pickup tomorrow...
Here are some pictures.

I did not, just sanded it several times and washed with Zep floor soap...
It really had no grease, previous tenant sold discs for disc golf.
I pressured washed it twice as well.
Still not done sanding it,we are just painting the areas I got sanded good enough and only bought 10 gallons combined,so I will need 10 more to finish...
Thanks,
TXDart
