Moving springs inboard

Has anyone moved their springs inboard to get more tire clearance?
What does it do to the, shock mount, travel and geometry?

Of course it will change the geometry, but marginal at best. It takes no special shocks with this application. Most people do not concern themselves with the ride afterward, because they end up with superstock springs for racing purposes and they ride like a hay wagon anyway. If you wanna keep a smooth ride then install a ladder bar set up and go to coil over shocks in the back.
