MSD 6AL in 71 Duster

Hey guys,

I picked up a MSD 6AL a while ago and was told by my brother that I will need to get an adapter to make my tach work.

Also, I see that they sell wiring harness kits for GM, Ford and a universal one...

Anyone out there have any input on what would be the easiest way to get this thing working in my Duster?

My Duster has the Mopar electronic conversation kit installed and it works good, but I want great!

Depends on the tach where you need the adapter or not. The MSD instructions tell you the brands that do. If in doubt hook the tach up to the tach ouput on the MSD and if it works you are good to go otherwise you will need the adapter. No special hook-up for the adapter; one lead goes to the tach ouput on the MSD, one hooks to the lead from the tach and the other two are power and ground.
