Hey Everybody, So I feel like I am possibly having ignition or carburetor issues. At low speed cruise if I am manually shifting the torqueflite the car will hesitate or cause a slow take off even at 2000rpm in first unless i am higher at about 3000rpm and then the take off is a lot stronger. Also when I am at freeway cruise at 2800rpm if i nail the gas in drive the car very slowly will accelerate as if the car is missing or something but if i slowly apply the throttle it accelerates perfectly fine. At what rpm is the distributor supposed to have full advance? 2000rpm? I have not done anything out of the ordinary for my ignition set up outside of buying the parts and installing them. As far as the carburetor it is a Barry Grant Speed Demon 750cfm vacuum advance with 70 primaries and 67 68? secondaries. It always had a slight hesitation but as of recently it has gotten pretty bad.
360 engine 10.5:1 compression
X Heads with 2.05/1.62 valves
Comp Cams 284XE Hydraulic
Edelbrock air gap
Msd dist/6al/coil
TTi exhaust

Any suggestions would be helpful, Thank you
