Yesterday I was finally able to get the floor shift conversion done in my 69 Dart. I wanted to publicly thank three guys who made the conversion a success. I have to thank FABO members Moparparts (Don) for the complete and correct 69 floor shift kit, Redfish (Ben) for the template for the mounting brackets (the value of that cannot be overstated), and barracudakid (Eddie) for the correct steering column. All I have to do to fully complete the conversion is swap in the new column. Here is a pic of the finished product.

More pics are in my restoration thread:

I've met barracudakid (Eddie) on one of my road trips, he's a good guy.

I've seen lots of posts from redfish.

moparparts is the one that I'm not as familiar with.

They all are good guys!

Also, I notice that you have an A/C car... Nice...

krazykuda,

The AC is actually coming out of my car as part of my restomod. I want to make the engine bay area cleaner and that big AC equipment really is not pretty under the hood.

I have bought many parts from Eddie for my 68 barracuda over the last 5 years or more. Always a pleasure and nice parts.
Great guy. Agreed there should be more post like this.
