My 1968 Valiant is home!

I finally got my '68 Valiant home today safe and sound! I can't wait to start working on it and eventually get it ready for a 360 swap. I have to do some suspension work, brake work, and also a little engine work to the slant 6 in there (is has an exhaust leak at the moment). It runs and drives and is solid as hell. I'm just happy it's home and that I have my first old Mopar at the age of 18 years old! :D

Here are some of the pictures I have of it. I wish I could of washed it and cleaned the interior out, but here it is!

Congrats. Also don't forget if you have any questions at all post em up. We all here on fabo will be more than glad to help. Awesome to see younger people get into the mopar craze. Myself being 24, i have a hard time fitting in because most guys my and your age are into the tuner crap lol.

Yeah lots of the young kids are all crazy about tuners which is normal. I like both, but the Mopars are different. Or just buy a SRT-4 Neon so you get best of both worlds...kinda :D
 
That's badass!! Here's a vote to keep it white with blue interior! And I agree with 71DodgeDemon340, there's fewer and fewer of us young people in this hobby, I'm 22 and I have a hard time finding fellow Mopar people around here much less someone close to my age!!
 
I brought it back from the dead and gave it new life. It has many years left to be enjoyed and I'm glad to see it get a new home with a future. My first car was a 67 Signet 4dr with a slant and I had it for years and finally scrapped what was left of it with 350,000 miles on it after I took what I needed for my other car.

That's how I roll also... :cheers:

Drive them until they can't be fixed, then strip off all the good reusable parts and find another one to drive and work on.... :cheers:

The ultimate recycling, going green.... :D
 
68's are sweet...now all you need is a coffee can exhaust!! just kidding, congrats, I always appreciate the younger gen learning the art of the classic car. Wait until you get a 360, they are much quicker than your average tuner.
 
That needs a blueprinted 375 horse 440 and a 4 speed.
 
I have a 65 valiant, nice to see some more 4 doors, I catch alot of slack for my 4 door, but its nice to be one of the few at the local cruise nights
