After a few modern GM F-bodies, I've decided to do something different and build a Mopar. The Valiant seems to be a not so common choice for a Mopar build, and I had the opportunity to purchase this one for pretty cheap. Here she is, a 75 Valiant Brougham 2 door. 225 slant, all original, 2 owner car. It's pretty straight except for some sail panel rust under the vinyl. All in all, it's still a smooth running, decent looking valiant.
I plan to find a 360, rebuild it with a 408 stroker kit, and shoot for a reliable, streetable, 400hp weekend car.
I'd like to fix the sail panel rust, all dents and dings, paint her a nice gun-metal silver, and put a black vinyl top on.
Over the course of the build, I'd also like to upgrade the brake and suspension parts as I progress. Of course it'll get some new shoes as well, nothing crazy, maybe some nice welds or centerlines. I'm shooting for a nice classic muscle stance, slightly larger dia/wider rears.
Any tips are appreciated, looks like there is a ton of good info here at FABO, thanks for having me!
