My 70 Duster

Ok so i got this 70 duster given to me by a friend of my dad. we had to go 600 miles to get it but it was worth it.. its a 100% stock /6 automatic.there is no rust other than a little bit in the trunk and a small amount in the floor but nothing serious at all. i have big plans for it. a low 12 high 11 second street car that gets driven. im leaning with more of the pro touring look with it. but ya i will post pictures as it goes on..

well i finally got around to working on it and getting it to a place to work on it at...

all washed up

gonna need to mini tube and narrow to fit the 15x10 centelines

got the old engine/trans out

ford 9 inch.. i have a nodular 3rd member with a strange 35 spline spool

disc brake swap.. have willwood 4 piston calipers adapted to the factory spinles.. turned out amazing..

thats the progress so far.. engine plan is in the works picstures to come..

got my 325/50/15 drag radials in so time for mini tub and rear end mock up.. fot 4 speed pedals and manual column in.. picking up my 4 speed trans hopefully tuesday...got my engine plans kinda sorted out.. 73 340 block.. .40 over... 4 inch eagle crank.. eagle rods.. 12.7.1 ross pistons... w5 heads ported by shady dell.. cam up in the air.. car will run on e85 or e98.. i picked up a a1000 fuel pump.. but thats my progress ill have some pictures up soon..

little update..

since i will be putting in a fuel cell i cut the tire sump out..

all the glass is out.. almost ready for blasting.

got the rotted out floor out..

used floor i picked up..

car is going to be completly blasted.. underneath and all of the inside so it will be nice to work with clean bare metal every where..
after blasting is mini tub, chromoly cage, and fuel cell mounting and ttrunk sheet metal before it goes to get every square inch painted..
