I've been posting about the replica Mad Max car I've been building; based off a 1974 Duster. Since it is supposed to be an Australian Monaro, we've been calling it the Dustaro. Anyway, this past weekend I had the Dustaro at Wasteland Weekend in the Mohave desert. I won Best Replica Vehicle! It's a lot of fun out there; check it out!

You picked a fairly decent time of year to visit. Missed the flying real estate of Spring . Missed the "I'm mellllting" .
Summer. Missed the flash floods of late Winter, although those can show in Summer also, but the sun dries them up rapidly.
