Looks very sharp!! Next time you see Don tell him his new name is
Get Her Dun Don.:toothy7:

I'll do that..........I've watched a lot of what has gone on with the restoration and helped when I could. He does a VERY good job and is very perticular in doing his work. I told him today that I had to wait to get my car into his shop but it was worth the wait!!!!!!

That looks fantastic. Great job. Wish my guy had that much gumption to get things done. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

Congrats, that is one great looking Duster. I'm glad you found a very good bodyman, that will work on classic cars. There are a couple of good ones around here but they won't work on anything but an insurance job. Now that the paint is about finished what will be your next project for the Duster? They are never done, if they were the fun would go out of the hobby.

Don (body shop man) seems to be very picky in the way he does the work. As I've said, I've watched him during this process and glad that I waited to get him to do the work. He has told me that he likes doing insurance jobs because of the money but hates the way they (insurance companies) tell him what he can use and not use in fixing up the wrecked vehicle. He said that it makes him look bad and that is what 'sucks' about doing insurance jobs. He told me the other day that his next restoration is going to be a Camaro. I asked him if he was going to miss me coming over everyday to check on my baby (Duster).........he said yes.....because I cared about what went on with the restoration. Not one of those that just dropped off the car and said 'here it is......let me know when it done' and never show up to see how the progress is going. He said that with my visits, it helped keep the restoration enthusiam going to see the end product........I have to agree.
I think my next project (since this one will be finished soon) will be another Duster. The next one to be redone to sell......but the next project won't begin till sometime next year (got to have some of that 'green stuff'....$$$$) to fund it.
I've really enjoyed watching the progress and learned a lot of what to look for (just enough to get me in trouble)......LOL.

Really, really looks nice! I'm sure you'll draw lot's of attention. Did you do the custom upholstery work? Nice touch on the door panels.

Since getting it back on the road......on Saturday (Sept.29th) with just one seat (couldn't wait to ride it again), I've had a lot of attention..... and was asked to pose for a picture of the car.....said that they just LOVED it!!
I had Duster embroideried onto the fabric by Spring Valley Graphics here in our area and then the upholstery was done by Swinks Upholstery also here in our area.......the combination looks really great...... I think.
Thanks for the comment.

Looks and sounds great. What are your cam specs and what kind of mufflers are you running?

Thanks for the compliment!!
The mufflers are the 'flowmaster clone'. The cam I'm running is from edelbrock and here's what the specs are on it:
