I know there are so many posts on this but I'm trying to replace my Tail/Brake and front directional lights with LED bulbs. All the wiring is original for the most part and I wouldn't want to jeopardize anything. Is there an LED bulb that plugs right in place of the original bulbs with nothing else needed? Also is there any other potential side effects from this? I'll also eventually replace my headlights but I understand they are a little more complicated. Again , stock wiring , what is the best LED headlight kit out there? I want them to look like complete stock lenses , not a fan of the halo or other stuff. I'm just trying to make it a little brighter than 2 candles. Unless there is a stepped up headlamp for my 67 application (non LED) just looking for easiest options without having to mess with relays or wiring and not causing potential issues. Thank you in advance everyone!!

I have one of his H-4_ headlight upgrade kits and it works flawlessly.

Easy to install, great service and by far one of the most knowledgeable people on this subject.

Want original looking?

Here's what Dan set up for me. Anyone can install this kit it's that easy.

It may not look 100% like the factory 7" headlights but its way closer than the smooth , clear plastic LED assemblies out there .

Wow , those look great , this is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you!!

I'm hearing some of the bulbs need something done to the fuse box? I'm the furthest from an electrical guru , in fact it's my weakness lol.

Here is the info you need. It might not be the info you want, but.

If you do wind up finding that the legit LED bulbs work acceptably in your lamps, you'll need to
put in a new-type turn signal flasher; that's this one
(2-prong like original; connect its ground wire conveniently.

There are other, non-LED bulbs (without even the potential for a compatibility problem) to make your brake lights and signals brighter; gimme a ping if you wind up wanting that info.

Either way, follow this advice, too.
