This is the first time I've ever entered a car show. There was alot of cool cool cars there including a Hemi Gtx and Superbird! I had alot of fun got another one im entering Saturday! Even tho my Dart isn't "show" ready I enjoy seeing it there among the others It actually got quite a bit of attention from alot of folks.

Very cool- that GTX is awesome.
I'm not much of a Chevy guy, but I can appreciate the stance of that silver Nova.

Your Dart fits right in. ;)
 
I loved that Gtx he was a local guy too. Never seen that car before now. It was prestine to say the least. I don't think I've ever seen a old car that clean that wasn't in a museum! The maroon and black 55 chevy won best of show it was very very nice too. It was an LS swapped 55 but it was nice enough that I could ignore that haha. I had alot of favorites lol. I don't understand how but a 2015 charger won best Mopar. It blew my mind! That gtx was hands down the best mopar there. I loved that purple duster also.
 
My Dart Convert is not show ready but I go to 5 to 10 shows annually, meet a bunch of cool people, some are now my friends, like I'll help you move friends!

I have won a hand full of awards, the most shocking was runner-up in A Body Dodge at Bandimere this year!


Personally I find the cars back story is cooler than the cars!

That's awesome. I agree I like hearing about the cars. I love the history behind these old things, I think that's what draws me to them so much. I won a grill at this show. It was one of the door prizes. I was so excited lol
 
Congrats absolutely love it now that you've had your cherry popped you need to hit up a swap meet they are awesome!!! Mopar or No Car!!!

I love swap meets I haven't been to one in years. We don't have them locally much anymore. There used to be a big mopar swap meet and car show at the local drag strip it was called mopars in the mountains. But they haven't done it in years that I know of. I meet Ronnie Sox there one year I still have his autographed picture framed. I still have the Tshirt I bought there too but its kinda to small now haha

Too cool...I love the mountains, and Ronnie was my favorite racer of all times....second was Arlen...third was Herb....most of all my cars came from deep in the NC mountains....I went to a small town in West Virginia right across state line from Maryland ..mopars were everywhere....seemed lots of yards had them parked everywhere...
 
Here are some pictures from Saturdays show I had a blast meet some really cool people and seen some awesome cars. The 70 cuda that I'm parked behind was hands down my favorite its a 1970 cuda convertible 383. All original the owners late wife bought it brand new in 1970 and they have owned it ever since. It was her everyday driver until the 80s. He was such a cool guy we talked for hours it was wild because he was super excited about my car he kept looking at it and kept saying how much he liked it and I was in awe from his of course!

Few more. There was only 3 mopars there mine the cuda and the purple challenger. Alot of late model mustangs and camaros. I didn't take any pictures of the late model stuff except for one it is my buddy's car it's very clean and sounds amazing I spent the morning working on his camaro we worked on the timing and tuned his carb.
