Today my master cylinder arrived in the mail. It is a Raybestos. New not a reman. Also purchased two new wheel cylinders for the rear drums. I was dissapointed in the fact the master cylinder did not include a new rubber boot for the push-rod. I figured being new it should have one. The current mc in my Duster is without one. But a friend of mine had a spare and gave it to me. Is it okay to use a used one for these? Or do I need to search for a new one?
