My quest for a 9, I failed.

Congrats that car is working well the first half, the fuel pressure dropping in second half is a sure sign you don't have enough fuel pump and when its sorted you pick up 3-4 mph top end

I would bet money the Mph is fine and he isnt having any fuel related issues at all.
His problem is getting the car to 60 foot. Its off a good bit. And 108 isn't spectacular in the 1/8 to run 9’s typically. His 108 to almost 135 split in the backend tells me its really making good power in high gear
My old W5 car went the exact same mph(134.74) he went on his 10 flat pass, and i went 9.852 on that pass. But 1.34, and at more weight, and on S/S springs.
I too ended up thinking i had fuel issues, swapped out everything, picked up nothing
His mph is enough to easily go 2 tenths quicker.
Better air, easy 9’s..better 60 foot, 9’s easy
Better air and better 60 foot, probably low 80’s/ high 70’s

Thing that is ultra impressive about Justin’s deal is he is running real pump gas.
Mine took lots of compression to do what it dd.
Great running pump gas smallblock!
