Some one swiped my Ranger pick-up with the V-8 in it,from right behind
my house. I have a full pump shut-off so I know it would'nt get far.
Now here is the kicker, I reported it a 6:45am, I talked to 3 different
dispatchers, I myself found the truck at 1pm. I received no call back with
a case number and I called 3 times. When I called back and told them I
found my truck they had no case number or any file that I reported it
stolen. What kind of crap is that!!! On top of that it had a parking ticket
on it, the officer said to send the ticket in with the case number, that
would be fine if they gave me a case number. I'm glad I got it back,
now its on the car carrier getting sent to Minnesota it will be there next
week,I will be there in January.
This morning I was leaving for work and I found another parking
ticket on my other truck for parking in the alley behind my house!!!!
I just can't win!! I can't wait to get out of Calif. with all this nickel and
dime crap. I suppose the police are patroling the area so they gave me
a ticket ... Unbelievable........
Oh yeah, my new truck I picked up off my neighbor for 1100 bucks.
He was the original owner it's a 1989 Chev. 1500 shortbed. no extend cab.
It's an auto w/ a 350. It runs perfect after I fixed the vacuum leak under
the throttle body. Could'nt pass it up, I trying to keep and ship as many
Calif. cars to Minnes. as I can. I'll have 4 up there by next week, got 3 left.
I sure love driving the full size trucks, almost forgot how smooth they
drive. It was fun driving my Ranger with the V-8 but it was still a small
truck, and I was tired of having to go to the emission's referee every time
I needed to get it emission tested. Where I'll be in the next 2 monthes
no emissions...... Can't wait.....
