Optical Illusion.
I started welding at my Dad's farm as a young kid, by dragging a buzz box welder electrode across an old plow share.
Then found out from one of the neighbors that if you turn the welder way up you could cut with it too.
What a mess, but that is how I got my start.

Myself I can’t weld, I can melt two pieces together that will get the job done but if it needs to be pretty I hire someone

I like to call them "Blind welds" because they are good enough to hold, but not to show off...iether that, or it looks like a blind man did it
