My wife needs some help

My wife is using a brain stimulating app on her I phone and I pad

She got to,level 12 several weeks ago and cannot get past it

She has to use 9 letters on a tic tac toe layout

There is a 4 letter and 5 letter word and the letters must connect on the grid

So here are the letters

SAD
SOB
MER

I'm not good with crossword puzzles of any word game. I tried one day for maybe 30 minutes to try and come up with the solution so she could get to the next level. There are no clues other than the 4 letter, 5 letter words

So anyone think they might be able to make suggestions?

Remember the letters have to connect for each word, or at least that is what she told me.

They just have to touch, not in straight line,

I never tried or looked at it till she got stumped with this one

Dress doesn't work since the letter cannot connect

Once she gets back hoe. She can try some of these

Will update those if they work
 
Also, when you use letters for one word, the remaining letters will fall down to the next open space. So other words can be made when the letters touch. I hope I explained that good enough.

Maybe, what is the name of the game you are referring to?

I have no clue just one of what they said would be good for her to help improve her brain function

Wordbrain is the one that I have played.

Since she is at level 12 and the 1st time she ask me for help I was clueless

But with your help I got one word this morning

Moss, so now it is up to her to get the other word

Bread was the correct 2nd word.

After I got moss gave it back to her, she kept trying and I looked at it and it a few seconds told her bread and it drop down and on to level 13, I think she is stuck on 14 now.........LOL
 
It's cheatin to use any other brain but hers.

Your are correct, that is why I don't help her, it is for her benefit

But she had brain surgery in nov. 2014, so have to help every once in a while........LOL

She has PARKINSON and had a deep brain stimulator installed. 2 probes about 3" long insterted into her brain and wire run down behind her left ear to a battery pak in her chest

It really screwed her up last year, she is much better
