Napa 103228X

Working on 68 dart 340 GTS. When installed the Napa 103228X the chain had at least a 1/4" play on both sides. I'm sure this Is not right. The motor is a 340 block dated 68. I need the correct timing chain. Can anyone help me with the right timing chain number?

Has the main saddles been align bored? If so u will need to get a shorter chain from somewhere, they do make them or u could put in a tc tensioner from a mid 90s 3.9 litre Dakota. Kim

I ran into the same problem on my 408.. Had to use a Cloyes chain that was .010" shorter than stock
