Be on the watch for some nasty storms, just got hammered in central MN by a smal line of severe storms, not sure if there was a tornado spotted but the sirens were sounding in the 3 area towns....heavy winds, rain and large hail is reported. Looks like more on the way for us a little later, Iowa is getting some bad stuff and other Midwest states so be safe and get your cars inside!

Hope you got by without any damage, Keith! Most of the time, It seems like the storms get close to the Twin Cities and split north and south these days. Like a dome effect or sumpin'. We could actually use some good rain here and I like a good storm too, as long as damage stays minimal. That's never good!

Stay safe Keith!

No!!! I dont want any rain.. I just had to get the baler out to do my yard.. Free hay!!! LOL Although you are correct Doug, they always seem to split to the north and south of us. I love a good storm, especially when I can hide under the bed to stay safe!

Keith, watching the line of storms that got you and I think we might be getting them soon here in Anoka county. Hunker down and be safe. Duelm in the morning if the weather behaves. Bruce

I might go there too, we'll see :glasses7:

I've been watching the weather reports, and we're supposed to have some nasty stuff here in Central IL tomorrow morning. Hopefully, if it does hit, it'll do it before people start lining up for the Labor Day parade. I'd hate to have all those people out there and then something really bad comes roaring through.

Hope everybody stays safe!

Yikes, glad the Bird is ok, looks like a mess but glad you are ok, supposed to have more bad weather here Monday too so its possibility you may have more too, stay alert Karl

Thanks Keith.

The problem is I lost my old staple gun, so I bought a new one sat night. The kid at the store even checked to make sure that I got the proper staples for the gun.

I was over at my mom's house, helping my brother get it ready to put up for sale, and came home late evening.

I cleared some more off of the roof, and when I tried to put the staples in the gun, they won't come out when I press the handle.... :banghead:

So I get in the car after clearing some more (to take advantage of what daylight is left), then go to retrun the staple gun, and get there at 8:01 and they close at 8:00. Son of a Beach.... :finga:

So now I have to get up early to get a staple gun to cover the hole in the roof before it starts to rain...

The tree that fell is at least 150 years old, probably closer to 200. The trunk is HUGE. I think that I will get a pro to take down the rest so I don't hurt myself.

Luckily the hole is not to bad and could have been much worse....

I just got my hole covered with plastic. Just in time before the storms start....

Keep the Bird dry KK :coffee2: Wow! Y'all stay safe up there and glad you have the roof dun for now Karl :coffee2:

We had a tree fall on our garage last year. Best thing to ever happen to us. There was minimal damage to the cars. The insurance company gave us a
Boat load of money so we put a new roof on it along with a
New ceiling, new insulated walls, and a new heater. Hopefully
You have some good insurance!

Dang, sorry to hear about the damage. We lucked out with no storm damage here in Waterloo.
