If you don't already have one, get a boat and enjoy Lake James in warm weather. Just don't go on July 4th......too many boats on the water with people driving them.

The whole point of leaving NYC was get away from the crowds. We were here only 6 days when the hurricane hit,kicked our asses,but still better then NYC…..

Welcome! I just went to a funeral in Huntersville a few weeks ago. Man, it's murder trying to get back on I-85 off of 485 no matter which direction you're coming from. It all dumps onto the same ramp!

Thanks, and sorry to hear about the funeral. Yeah, traffic anywhere in Charlotte is a nightmare.

Checking in here, just got a job in NW Charlotte, looking at places to live between there and Kannapolis or Huntersville (wife works in Winston-Salem currently). I haven't done much Mopar-ing the past couple years but hoping to get back into it with my Duster and meet up with some of y'all! Visiting the McCandless and Petty museums is on my bucket list btw.
