Need 5.7 hemi crank bolt size

Gonna possibly picking a 5.7 hemi up tomorrow real cheap, need to know crank bolt size just in case to see that it turns over.

Does anyone know?

Take some metric sockets with ya...sorry dont know the size off hand.

On a 6.1 it's 13/16 a 21mm should also fit.

Pretty sure the actual size would be the 21mm....Pretty much nothing on these new motors are standard, all metric.

Just bring a set of metric sockets and a ratchet/breaker bar.

I just rolled mide over on Saturday and it was indeed 21mm

Thanks everyone, ya it worked out. Picked up a 2005 5.7 hemi, $200. Only issue is it "ticks" at idle. everything else is fine.
My brand new 2009 charger 3.5 ticks at idle, im not to worried.

thats a smokin deal. The tick is very common, its the hemi tick. High mileage motors sometimes need new lifters, but very minor issue.

thats what I said. For $200, i can rebuild if need be....and i get to say "ya, its got a hemi"
