Can anyone help out with a pic and measure of a correct bolt that attaches the console to the brackets. Not sure if they changed over the years but I will say 1969 will be a safe reference.

I can't remember what they look like. I have my bolts organized at home but either the console bolts were mis-catagorized or its possible I never had the correct ones.

Thanks

These are the 2 screws I took out of the floor of the console glove box.
I believe them to be originals. They are painted semi or flat black.
3/4" long, Philips pan head with washers that spin on the screws but can't be removed.
I believe they are 8 or 10s. Check your brackets for size. About 1/8 nail size not including threads.

I would like to have a copy of some of your bolt organization work Rani.
I have 3- 5 gallon buckets of Mopar bolts I have removed from cars over the past
35 years that needs something done with them.
I can't tell you how many times I have dumped them out on the floor for a single bolt then dust panned them back in the bucket after finding my bolt.
They are terrible to move around.
I have never been that organized but my memory was good. But it seems to be slipping a bit as I get older.

Were those the bolts in question Rani?
Would I have to wear the orange smock/blanket thingy? and shave me scalp for it to be effective? I know the mountain top is out of the question in northern Indiana. Farmers have
got the whole area raked flat as a still pond.

They say that the mind is the first thing to go when you get old.... :banghead:

You don't want to know what goes next.... LOL! :sign12:

I would bet those are the correct bolts because as someone else pointed out to me that it would be a machine screw end and not an actual bolt the way the 67+ console brackets are made.

66 And back would have a bolt because the bracket has a cage nut on the rear bracket.

But I assume you are working with all 67+ stuff like I am so that will probably work .....so now that I have a reference of what I am looking at, now the hunt begins.

Inner peace and bolts can be found with jeans and T-shirts too. :jocolor:

That's a good one.
I think I must only be finding the bolts since my brow can look a little cross
when dumping the buckets. The inner peace comes when they are back in the bucket
and am holding the prize.
Find them bolts.

I guess I should have said time for Rani to spill her buckets to find her missing bolts.
I think she is more organized than to be using buckets like I am though.
I could never toss out my buckets yet. All my cars are apart.
Smart folks bag and tag their disassembly. I been using the bucket system.
Hope my memory holds up till I get the paint on these cars.
One of these days Im gonna have to clean them all and learn how to replate some of them.
I have all engine bolts separated in coffee cans at least some organization there.
